Placebo Bar and Club is the new Preston venue that is offering something new to the city’s nightlife.
AdvertisementLocated at 158-159 Friargate, the former Macs Bar officially reopened under a new name and management on Friday 15 December.
LA Lesiure Preston Ltd were handed the keys to the venue and have been carrying out an extensive refurbishment in time for the opening night.

The revamp has transformed the venue into a modern club that features stylish interior, including a sparkly bar as soon as you walk through the doors.
There is now also a brand new prosecco bar, a shot bar, six booths and a VIP room that are all available to hire.
Director of LA Leisure Preston Ltd, Leon Mazzafiore, 49, has decided to transform the venue into something that differs to the former Macs Bar, which shut earlier this year after 6 years.
The bar now features different styles of music for different nights, including funky house, RnB, old skool house and more.
Placebo currently opens from 10pm – 4am.

They have a range of drinks deals including £1 bottle deals, £1.50 spirit deals and the booth hire includes offers of prosecoo, ciroc and grey goose with unlimited mixers and a round of free shots with table service.
