Traffic stopped on M6 near Preston due to three-vehicle collision

Emergency services are the scene of a road-traffic collision on the M6 near Preston.

The incident occurred on the northbound carriageway between junction 32 and 33 and was reported just after 3pm this afternoon (November 20).

Three vehicles are reportedly involved in the collision, with one vehicle hitting the central reservation and one van coming to a stop in a ditch.

Motorway police are now on the scene with a block put in place while they assist those involved in the road traffic collision.

Update: All lanes are now open. Emergency services are still at the scene. Police have warned those travelling to expect delays.
