Preston came to a halt to remember its fallen soldiers.

Remembrance Sunday was marked by a veterans parade through the city centre.

The Flag Market was thronged with hundreds of people coming to pay their respects.

A two-minute silence was observed at 11am to remember those who have died in conflict throughout the generations.

The Last Post then sounded across the city.

Paul Melling was there to capture the parade in pictures.
