Hoppers Gin Festival is happening this weekend

Preston Grasshoppers has announced their Hoppers Gin Festival that will be taking place this weekend.

Perfect to get you into the Christmas mood, there will be a staggering range of 50 gins to try and buy.

There will be a variety of stalls, entertainment and different sessions to get involved with, helping you to enjoy the festivities of the season.

Taking place at the Rugby Club on Lightfoot Lane, the free event will be split into three different sessions.

The Hoppers Business Network will take place on Friday 1 December, from 1pm – 6pm, which is open to the club’s sponsors and business community.

The public can then gain free entry from 6pm – 12am.

From 9pm there will live entertainment from talented vocalist Joel Brown.

Hoppers Gin Festival

On Saturday 2 December, the public can attend for free again from 11am – 5pm.

Upon entering the event you will be able to get a Gin Festival glass by paying a £5 deposit, which you can claim back if you return your glass, or feel free to take the glass home instead.

Amongst the various gin stalls, Marble Head will be putting on a gin masterclass, featuring Cuckoo Gin, Batch Gin, Manchester 3 Rivers, Edinburgh Gin, Liverpool Gin and many more.

The festival will also have a great mix of tonics to try including Fentimans, Fever Tree, Lamb and Watt and Franklin.

There will be various food and drink stalls for you to explore throughout the festival, such as Bakes by Susannah, Sandhams Cheese, Bavarian Patisserie, Christina’s Fudge, Reedys, Whisky and Cottam Post Office’s crafts and gifts.

The main sponsors of the event are Haleys Business Advisers and the club hopes to see you this weekend for a fantastic event.
