Beer Brothers Brewery brings the story of Phill Leyland and David Reece, both born and raised in Preston, who met in school and have been ‘brothers ever since’.
The pair started brewing as a hobby in Longton and started producing quality beers for friends.
Demand for the beverages started to outweigh capacity, and the duo decided to expand, forming Beer Brothers Brewery.
A spokesperson for Beer Brothers said: “We are now producing cask, keg and bottled craft beers and have plans to move into canning.
“Sales to local outlets are constantly increasing and we see the future as bright as the beer we brew.
“In tandem with production we also plan to open our own outlets across Lancashire and are looking at the opportunities to export.
“We are hosting the official opening of the brewery, outlet shop and taproom, and we are expecting a pretty busy night!
“We believe in supporting local trade so there will be live local musicians and local pies from Glover’s bakery to celebrate all things Lancashire.”

In total, Beer Brothers currently have seven people contributing both part and full time towards operations, and they anticipate increasing staff numbers as the business expands.
