Army gather at Preston Minster to remember the fallen

Preston Minster fell silent during Friday to mark fallen soldiers.

Ahead of Armistice Day on Saturday (11 November) and Remembrance Sunday the Army held a private remembrance service.

The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment attended the service and stopped to remember their fallen comrades.

More than 50 regular and reserve personnel from both the second and fourth battalions of the North West’s Infantry Regiment remembered those who had served in conflict.

The Minster was draped in military flags throughout the service.
