Winckley Square to become a Christmas wonderland for two days

Winckley Square is to be transformed into a winter wonderland in the run up to Christmas.

Following the Tales of Oz event the Winter Wonderland showcase takes over the whole of the grade-II listed Georgian gardens.

Santa, Mrs Christmas and the cheeky elves will be running amock in the Square for kids to come and enjoy a Christmas showcase.

Activities include visiting Santa in his cosy living room and receiving a gift, storytelling with Mrs Christmas and meeting the elves in their workshop.

EventsLive is putting on the Christmas show on Saturday 16 December and Sunday 17 December.

There are three performanes each day at 10am, 1pm and 4pm.

Tickets are £15 per child and this includes one adult accompanying. It’s £5 for every additional adult. Tickets are available via Skiddle.

There’s a Christmas Choir as well as a bar, hot food and drinks.
