Two men hunted by police after car crashes into Preston Bus

Police are searching for two men after a car crashed into a bus during the Monday morning rush hour.

The suspected stolen vehicle, understood to be a red Nissan Micra, was involved in a collision with a Preston Bus service.

The incident took place in Greaves Town Lane, Lea, around 8am on Monday (16 October).

Preston Police requested back up from the police helicopter based at NPAS Barton which has been providing air support to locate two men.

A police search is understood to still be underway in the Larches and Ashton-on-Ribble areas.

It is not known if anyone was hurt in the crash at this stage.

A spokesman for Preston Bus said: “We are aware of an incident involving one of our services and are assisting the police with their enquiries.”
