Owner, Carley Louise Stewart, said: “Since becoming a vegan I’ve always found difficulty finding a good takeaway.
“And you always get the same old questions like ‘Well what do you eat?!’ ‘Where do you get your protein from?!’ ‘Oh you can’t have that’.
“So putting two and two together I decided to cook and share with people what vegans really eat!
“I’d post my meals daily and people were in shock at how good plant based food can actually be, and the benefits on your health, the environment and obviously the animals – It’s a ‘win win’ situation.
“So I’d share my food with friends and family, some of whom are also vegan, and they’d say ‘Why can’t there be a takeaway that does food like this?’
“Light bulb moment – due to my current job role I have my food hygiene and a five star grade from environmental health, so I could sell these meals.
“So whilst working around my current job and my kids; I’ve been cooking away and the interest and response I’ve received has been incredible.
“Vegans, veggies, People just wanting a delicious, guilt free, healthy option.”
