Entry for the event is just £3.

The Garden of Edith Swap Shop, named after Edith Rigby, is ran by friends Gareth Hodgson and Hannah Greatorex.

Gareth Hodgson said: “Myself and my friend Hannah run the shop together as well as university and part time jobs.

“The shop is primarily a swap shop where people can bring pieces of clothing they no longer want or enjoy and swap them for a new outfit.

“It’s a super simple 3 tiered system; t-shirts and everyday basics are the lowest rating, button up shirts, jeans and so on are mid-range then jackets, dresses and high quality one off pieces are top tier.

“All clothing can be bought without swapping as well and nothing is ever more than £12 .

“We also have a specials rail, selling items that we have hand picked for what we think our customers would like.

“Along side the clothing we also have resident artists selling their work – we do this because we love art and think independent artists need a better platform to get therir names out there.

“Any clothing we can’t sell or is out of season is taken to local charity shops so nothing is ever wasted!”
