Meet the lollipop lady who has spent five decades helping Longridge pupils

A Longridge lollipop lady is officially the longest serving in Britain.

Irene Reid, 78, has been helping school pupils cross the road for almost five decades and has clocked-up to 3,500 miles crossing roads.

The 77-year-old has been crossing children outside Longridge Church of England Primary School for a whopping 49 years.
