Darren Wildman, one of the organising team, said: “He was a huge hit with the fans, and a lovely, down to earth guy who had loads of time for everyone.
“The guest line up across the comic and media sections was probably our most varied to date, with artists from Marvel, DC, 200AD and more guests from Red Dwarf, Power Rangers and Game of Thrones to name a few.”
The date is already being set for next year’s event and Darren said the team had some big announcements and plans to come.
He said: “A huge thank you to everyone who attended. The event is put on by fans for fans and we cannot than everyone enough. It’s the visitors who make the atmosphere and day so special.
“The Guild Hall is a great venue and we’d like to thank Richard Simkin and his team for understanding our needs and helping us grow and expand the event.”
