A celebration of Preston’s Asian community took place in the city centre.

Music, dancing and food was on the agenda as the Mela returned.

Building on last year’s mini Mela the community event had a stage showcasing different types of Asian dancing and music.

Arts Council funding has allowed the event to expand for this year on the Flag Market.

Crowds flocked to enjoy the taste of a different culture.

Stalls had tasty treats and activities for children.
