A giant retirement village is planned for the outskirts of Preston.

Land off Preston Road in Grimsargh is earmarked for the development by the Your Housing Group.

The 60-bedroom care home, 60 apartments and 20 bungalows would be spread throughout the complex.

It would have its own dedicated doctors surgery and gardens.

The entrance to the retirement village would be opposite Nook Crescent.

Currently the land earmarked for development is pasture land for a nearby farm.

The full plans can be found on the city council website and anyone with comments can leave them there.
