Indian Express, in Fylde Road, has been shut since late April and is subject to a financial dispute.
The trading rights have been bought by Akeem Bunglawala who runs Mo’s Munch in New Hall Lane.
He’s planning to reopen Indian Express and combine it with his existing businesses.

Mr Bunglawala said: “We will be doing traditional dishes and all my specials too.
“I’m just waiting on the menus to transfer over on services like JustEat and a few other details. We should be open in a week or so.
“Indian Express was popular and we hope to keep that going.”

An eviction notice is pinned to the door of the Fylde Road premises by its landlords Limeoak Properties Limited dated for 9 June 2017.
It is understood Indian Express, opened in 2014 by chef Jamie Palmer – who also operates Yo Burrito in Friargate, was bought last year by another operator. It then closed in late April and has been bought by Mr Bunglawala and his associates.
