PrestFest returned to Preston’s Flag Market this summer on Saturday (8 July).
AdvertisementThe outdoor concert, organised by the city’s Business Improvement District, was held to celebrate Preston at night after it received the Purple Flag Award for an outstanding nightlife.
The ticket-only event started at 7pm and finished at 11.30pm, and delivered a range of music genres including club classics, deep/soulful house, hard house, old school, and soul.
A huge crowd turned up and got their dancing shoes on whilst enjoying the vibrant sounds from the different acts who took to the stage on the night.

The headlining acts were club favourite Tom Zanetti, who has 16m views on his Youtube Channel, along with international Grammy Award winner Fatman Scoop.
Both headliners topped the fantastic event following an impressive lineup of local talent and DJ’s.
The performers who made the stage their own at PrestFest included Marcus Bronzy, Nick Carter, Tynee ‘n’ Tizz, Luke Wilson, Des Grant, Brian Hudson, Simba, Trevor T, Kaos, LJ, Ryan Peake, Soul Seeker, Quickdraw, Nick Coulson and Gwynz.
Hundreds of people came to watch the open air event in front of the Harris Museum.
The ecstatic atmosphere circled the Flag Market as each performer entertained the excited crowd.

Tickets were priced at £5 each and the summer event was for over 18’s only, with food and drink available inside.
