Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash outside a Chinese restaurant in Preston.

The incident took place around 4am on Saturday (1 July) when a car has crashed into a car parked outside the Tang KV restaurant in Fylde Road, Ashton-on-Ribble.

The car then drove off and was found abandoned in a nearby road.

Restaurant owner Jay Tan said: “We discovered the incident on Saturday afternoon and reported it to the police.

“We have also passed them CCTV footage of two people leaving the car.

“They then returned to the scene and collected the number plate from the abandoned car.”

Preston Police said the incident was under investigation and anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting log number LC-20170701-0852.
