Police have cordoned off a section of Bamber Bridge following an incident this morning (July 19).

There was a significant police presence in Station Road at around 8am outside Betfred.

The incident is believed to have happened around 6am at the Royal Bank of Scotland branch.

The pavement appears to be closed from near the zebra crossing up until after the Gee Tee’s store.
