Games of Thrones series seven launch episode to be screened in Preston pub

Game of Thrones fans in Preston are being invited to a live stream of the first episode.

Running from 10.30pm on Sunday (16 July) through until 4am (Monday) – a Preston pub has a special late licence to show it.

Ships and Giggles in Fylde Road is screening the first episode of the seventh series in high definition on a big screen with surround sound.

It’s free entry and there’s a Game of Thrones pub quiz before from 10.30pm. The episode airs at 2am (UK time).

Jammie O’Brien, one of the team behind the event, said: “The team behind Ships & Giggles are massive Game of Thrones fans and we know you are too. We all have been waiting so long for the new season and its finally here.

“So it’s time to celebrate our journey back into Westeros with a massive launch party.”

Fans of the show are invited to dress up as their favourite character and prizes for best dressed will be given out.
