Specialist games store Warhammer has left its home of 25 years for a new spot in Preston city centre.

The miniature modelling retailer has taken a new 800 square foot store.

It’s on the Lune Street side of the St George’s Shopping Centre.

Previously Warhammer was based in the Miller Arcade and called Games Workshop.

The new store has an events space so it can hold games workshops for gaming fanatics each Saturday.

General manager of the St George’s Shopping Centre Andrew Stringer said: “This is fantastic news for St George’s Shopping Centre, as another national brand commits to a presence in the centre.

“It’s another positive sign that as a city we are attracting quality retailers and is a welcome addition.”
