Woman in hospital after Garstang Road crash

A woman was taken to hospital after a crash on a busy Preston road.

The collision took place near the Texaco Petrol Station in Garstang Road, near the junction with St Thomas’ Road.

Preston Police and the North West Ambulance Service attended and the female pedestrian was taken to Royal Preston Hospital to be checked out.

A white Seat Ibiza was involved and the incident took place around 3.20pm on Tuesday (9 May).

The extent of the woman’s injuries are not known at this stage and Preston Police say they are not currently appealing for witnesses.
