Two Preston council wards will be contested alongside the Lancashire County Council elections on Thursday.

During 4 May the Ashton and Preston Rural East voters have their say on a new councillor.

Rural East elects a councillor to replace Tom Davies after his passing in November last year.

While Ashton replaces Angela Vodden who stepped down to pursue a career in Wales.
