The company, based at Preston Docks, was founded in 2004 by brothers Andrew, Chris and Steven Gore and friend Pete Adams, and they released their third title ‘Soccer Manager Arena’ on Monday 8 May.

They currently have two titles on release, Soccer Manager Worlds and Soccer Manger 2017.

Soccer Manager Arena is a strategic football game that allows users to collect their favourite player cards and build decks to compete against other gamers worldwide by going head-to-head during three minute matches at iconic football arenas across the globe.

The game is available to play on Google Play and the App Store.

Students studying Games Development at Preston’s College have been helping with the production of the new game by visiting the Soccer Manager’s Preston Offices and testing the new app, competing against each other and providing feedback which was later used to tailor the game.

Steven Gore, co-founder of Soccer Manger Limited, said: “Soccer Manager Arena is a strategic football game that allows users to collect their favourite player cards and build decks to compete against other gamers worldwide by going head-to-head in three minute matches at iconic city based Arenas from across the globe.

“The game is available on Android, iOS, Stean and Amazon.

“We have strong ties with both Preston College and UCLan and due to this students from Games Development at Preston College and Games Design from UCLan have helped test and provide feedback during Beta over the past few months.

“This gave the students invaluable experience as it showed them the process of game development and also how testing forms an integral part of production.”

You can download Soccer Manager Arena for free via the link and is available to iOS, Android, and desktop users.
