A large stretch of a busy connecting road in Preston on the outskirts of the city centre is to be shut.
AdvertisementAqueduct Street from its junction with Garstang Road to Fylde Road will be shut for one to two days during a one month period.
Lancashire County Council say the road needs ‘surface dressing’ and have put a one month warning period in place.
The road could be shut for the 48-hour period between Friday 12 May to Friday 9 June.

No exact dates can be given as the county say it is weather dependant for the work to be carried out.
The closure follows the announcement of Fylde Road experiencing a similar closure for roadworks for a day or two during a one month period.
