Police have released footage of crowbar wielding thieves at work in a Preston shop.
Four men are wanted after the raid at the Spar in Plungington Road.
The incident took place around 9.45pm on Thursday (6 April) when four men entered the store and threatened staff with a crow bar.
Two cash boxes were taken as well as a quantity of cigarettes valued at around £5,500.
One of the men, who were wearing balaclavas, appeared to use a duvet sheet to carry the stolen items out of the shop before they made off down an alleyway to the side of the shop.
Dective Constable Patricia Brown said: “We are appealing for information after a robbery in Preston.
“A large number of cigarettes as well as two cash boxes containing a large amount of money were taken.
“One of the males was using a what appears to be a duvet to carry the stolen items.
“All four males left the store on foot and left the store staff badly shaken up.
“Police are looking for any information that would lead to the identity of those involved.”
