A four day festival of new and experimental music is coming to Preston.

Hosted at the University of Central Lancashire the festival features cutting edge performances from undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Future Sound Festival runs during mid-May and includes Paddy Steer, Cold Bath Street, Third City, The Bass Ensemble and The Alumni Party.

All the shows take place from Tuesday 16 May to Friday 19 May and are free to attend.

Shows on the Tuesday and Wednesday start at 7pm and the Thursday and Friday run from 12noon until midnight.

The venue is the Media Factory in Cold Bath Street on the UCLan Preston campus.
