A new 22-bedroom apart-hotel is opening in Preston city centre.

Walker and Williams group are developing Number 10 Preston – an upmarket set of apartments available for short stays.

Based in Theatre Street, opposite the Theatre Street bar and grill, a major renovation has been taking place in the last six months.

Hotel manager Ross Taylor said: “Walker & Williams is an independent, family owned and run business, it was established to offer all the comforts and facilities that come with staying in a 1st class apartment but with the services of a boutique hotel.

“Our mission is to wow our guest, supersede all expectations and to offer this experience at a competitive price.

“Being from Preston, we are proud of the growth and investment the city is now seeing, and to be part of the buzz the city is generating is really exciting. We are looking to set the bar for accommodation in Preston, help draw visitors to the area and create jobs and prosperity for this wonderful city.”

The renovation has cost £250,000 and creates 11 jobs in the city.

No10 Preston opens to the public on Friday (28 April).
