Crash on London Road after driver falls asleep at wheel

A driver had a lucky escape this morning (April 22) after an incident in London Road.

The driver of a van fell asleep at the wheel and it resulted in a collision with ‘fairly catastrophic results’.

Nobody was injured as a result of the crash.

The incident occurred in London Road outside the Ashbridge on Ribble Nursery by the bridge that crosses the River Ribble.
