Warning issued for motorists due to oil on roundabout

Preston Police has issued a warning for motorists travelling this afternoon.
AdvertisementA roundabout in Preston is potentially hazardous due to oil on the road in the area.
The roundabout is on Longridge Road next to the Red Scar Business Park.

Preston Police has received a number of reports from motorists using the road today.
Lancashire County Council has been made aware of the situation.
A spokesman for Lancashire County Council said: “Our inspector is due to go out to check this location. If there is a spill we will use sand to make it safe.”
