Preston chippy is burgled during weekend raid

A fish and chip shop has been raided in Preston triggering a police appeal.

Bill and Ben’s Fish & Chips in Matiland Street, Deepdale, was targeted after it closed on Friday (10 March).

Preston Police have issued an appeal for information after the owners reported they had been broken into.

Around £150 cash was taken during the burglary and the offenders made off from the scene at some point between 5.30pm on Friday and 9.50am on Saturday.

Investigation into the incident continues and anyone with information can contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting crime reference number SA1703474.
