International rugby is coming to Preston Grasshoppers on their new artificial pitch.

As the Calcutta Cup seniors prepare to face off in the Six Nations the Sunday afternoon fixture is a chance to see the talent of the future.
England coach Eddie Jones was recently in Preston to open the Hoppers new RFU-funded pitch.
RFU rugby development director Steve Grainger said: “It’s great to see the artificial grass pitch being utilised for an international fixture. This really shows the standard of the facilities available here in Preston.
“We hope the community will come out and support England U18 on the 12th and feel inspired to try out the new AGP for themselves over the coming months.”

Tickets for the game are £8 for adults, £4 for concessions (including students) and free for kids under 16. You pay on the gate.
The match is being sponsored by the University of Central Lancashire.

Grasshoppers general manager Richard Ellis said: “We are delighted to be hosting such an important international fixture here in Preston on behalf of the RFU. It’s another chance to showcase the fantastic new Artificial Grass Pitch here at Lightfoot Green. We are expecting a large crowd and urge anyone wishing to come to leave plenty of time to get parked and arrive at the ground.”
The match kicks off at 2pm on Sunday (12 March).
