Heavenly Desserts could stay open till 1am

Heavenly Desserts, a cafe in Preston City Centre that offers delicious range of sweet desserts, has applied to Preston City Council for extended opening hours.

The cafe, located at Millers Arcade, has submitted the proposal to remain open until 1am.

Currently the cuisine enables customers to dine in until 11.30pm on Sunday-Thursday with takeout available until 12am, and on Friday – Saturday with you can dine until 12am with takeout open till 1am.

The eatery caters to groups, parties, children, table bookings, walk-ins, and takeaway services.

Heavenly Desserts said: “We are looking to keep open to 1am as people who do’t want to go to bars and clubs can come and enjoy a dessert in a great atmosphere.

“Or you can even takeout and enjoy at home.

“We have lightened up the area for people to come and enjoy an outing with their families or even their friends.

“It’s a nice way to enjoy, sit and relax, drink coffee, have a dessert and just catch up on gossip with your people.

“There is also another operator opening up next door who will be serving burgers and milkshakes.

“Hopefully the whole area in the next four-six months will be very active.

“Heavenly Desserts likes to play a big role in the community, more specifically we like to keep young generations off the streets.”
