Located at 15-17 Manchester Road the takeaway has sent in the request to Preston City Council on 24 February for a Premises Licence and Club Premises certificate.

The family-run restaurant in Preston City Centre, serves traditional Caribbean cuisine seven days a week, where you have the option to eat in the store or order food to be delivered instead.

The company opened in 2012 and serves speciality Jamaican dishes ‘packed with flavour and spices’ using fresh ingredients.

The business has submitted the proposal to play both live and recorded music from Monday – Saturday at 12pm until 2am, along with live performances of dance and entertainment.

The eatery would also like to sell alcohol on its premises from 12pm – 2am, and has made another request to sell late night refreshments on Monday – Sunday from 11pm until 2am.

Caribbean Spice currently opens until 10pm on Sunday – Monday and until 11pm on Tuesday – Saturday.

However the Caribbean cuisine would like to extend its opening hours to 12pm-2.30am on Monday-Sunday.

We tried to contact the takeaway but they were unavailable for comment.
