Legendary hip-hop artists Sugar Hill Gang and Furious Five will perform in Preston in a double bill show.

LiVe, situated in the foyer area of Preston Guild Hall, will host the show on Friday, June 9.

Dan Morris, head of programming at LiVe, said: “Old school hip hop at its finest, we’re starting to state our intentions at LiVe Venue, and securing Sugarhill Gang alongside some top venues such as Gorilla, Manchester is a real statement of where we want to get to on the music scene.

“Don’t wait around for this one, its only been on sale a day and we’ve done 30% of tickets! Act fast.”

The venue has been laying down markers since opening last year with White Lies set to perform in March and Fiesta Bombarda being brought to the city.

Tickets for the show are £20 and they are on sale now.
