A Preston city centre cocktail bar has shut down four months after it opened.

Latch Preston in Guildhall Street announced it was closing on Saturday (25 February).

The prosecco bar said it had ‘been in talks with the council with regards to our licence and noise complaints’.

A statement from the bar, which also operates in Chorley, said: “As a result we have taken the very hard decision to close.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who visited us and enjoyed a cocktail or two.

“We are very sad to be leaving a city which truly welcomed us, and hope to find a new location with in Preston very soon.”

Blog Preston contacted Latch for further comment but received no response.

Preston City Council said they would not be commenting on the closure.
