Preston Police have released a CCTV picture of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.

Around 12.30am on Tuesday 27 December a man was outside the Anderton Arms in Longsands Lane. He got speaking to another man.

The offender had a ride on the victim’s bike, but then rode away and never returned.

PCSO Stephen Connolly said: “We’d like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV as we think he may be able to help us with our investigation. We’d also urge anyone who has seen a similar bike to the one in the picture in the Preston area to get in touch with us (it’s worth around £3000!).”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 and give the reference SA1617386.
