Virgin Trains is taking the bike racks from Platform 7 as part of the £1.5million revamp of the station.
Instead those who enjoy arriving on two wheels are being told to use the new bike hub.
Attached to the Leisure Lakes cycle shop on the Butler Street side of the station it has space for 200 bikes and is accessible 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week.
