A fast food chain has opened within a shopping centre in Preston creating 50 jobs.
AdvertisementBurger King has returned to Preston’s city centre and opened on the ground floor of the St George’s Shopping Centre.
The restaurant within the Rotunda area opened its doors during Tuesday (20 December) morning.
General manager for Burger King UK Gustavo Reichmann said: We are excited to expand the Burger King brand in this important market, and look forward to welcoming guests in Preston to experience the great-tasting, high-quality products that have delighted Burger King guests for 60 years.”

The restaurant has an ‘updated’ design compared to other Burger King restaurants with a ‘bright colour palette’.

Operations director for the fast food chain Noreen Smith said: “We are thrilled to be opening a Burger King restaurant in Preston. We look forward to great success at this location and to serving the community for many years to come.”
General manager of St George’s Shopping Centre Andrew Stringer said: “Burger King is very popular with all ages and we’re thrilled to welcome such a great international brand to the centre. It’s an addition which we’re sure will be well received by our shoppers.”
