St Catherine’s Hospice runs the two mile Dash as part of its Christmas Festival.

Festival organiser Rachel Hewitt said: “Our Christmas Festival weekend is a wonderful occasion featuring a host of seasonal attractions to get everyone in the festive spirit.
“Our grounds are transformed into a winter wonderland for the first weekend of December, and one of the highlights is our Santa Dash on the Sunday. It’s a great sight as thousands of supporters don fancy dress for a two-mile run or walk around our grounds and Lostock Hall, helping to spread good will and festive cheer whilst raising vital funds for St Catherine’s.”
