Preston Business Improvement District manager Mark Whittle said: “Joey has carved out a niche as a TV personality. Through his own high-ratings show he’s popular amongst many different age groups. The Christmas Concert will once again be a great event for the city as we launch our campaign to encourage people to make it Preston this Christmas.

“Owing to the growing popularity of our Christmas event, which is recognised as the best in the county, we were approached by ITV2 in order for them to film the event and bring Joey to town.

“Our invitation to the Christmas Concert is open to all. In co-ordination with businesses in the city centre we’ve put together a strong line-up suitable or all the family’.”
