Katie Lawson was last seen with friends in Preston

A Preston teenager has gone missing after being with friends on Saturday afternoon.

Update: Preston Police said Katie had been found safe and well on Sunday afternoon, and thanked the public for their help.

16-year-old Katie Lawson was last seen late on during the afternoon and now Preston Police have launched a missing persons appeal.

Katie is white, medium build with dark brown straight hair.

Police say she was wearing a black top and jeans with white trainers and she’s carrying a black and white backpack.

Sergeant Hesketh of Preston Police said: “If you see her, or have any information that may help us find her and take her home, please ring 101 quoting log reference 1590 of the 12th November.”
