With Halloween approaching a warning has been issued to mischief makers across Preston.

Preston Police have produced a poster which homeowners can put up saying ‘No trick or treating here’.

They are asking trick or treaters to respect the wishes of anyone with the poster up in their door or window.

PCSO Stephen Connolly said: “Halloween is fast approaching so I thought I’d make this poster available again.

“Halloween isn’t something that everyone loves and there may be many different reasons why someone doesn’t want people coming to their door.

“Simply save this picture to your device and print off at your leisure. If you’re out with the little ones this Halloween and see this sign please respect the occupants wishes and give them a skip.”
