Police extremely concerned after man goes missing in city centre

Preston Police are ‘extremely concerned’ after a man went missing this morning.

Update: Adam Gilmour has been located safe and well in Preston.

Adam David Gilmour, 26, was reported missing by his family. He was last seen in Preston city centre at around 1am today.

DCI Steve Holgate, of Preston Police, said: “We are appealing for anybody who has seen Adam to make contact with us as a matter of urgency.

“Similarly we would urge Adam himself, if he sees this appeal, to contact us or his family straight away.

“We are extremely concerned for his safety and would urge him, or anyone who knows where he may be, to get in touch.”

Adam is described as a white male, of large build, approximately 6ft tall. He was last seen wearing pale glue jeans, a navy t-shirt, a grey zipped top and new Adidas trainers.

Anybody with information should contact police on 101, quoting log number 125 of today (October 20th).
