A man has been taken to hospital after a crash in a rural Preston road.

Fire crews from Fulwood and Preston raced to a Goosnargh country lane.

They found a car on its roof with a man trapped inside.

Firefighters used an air bag and stabilising blocks to steady the vehicle.

The man was released, attended to by paramedics and taken to Royal Preston Hospital.

Cumeragh Lane near Goosnargh was closed for around an hour after the incident at 3pm on Saturday (1 October).
