Chinese lanterns in night’s sky in memory of Preston crash victim

Lanterns have sailed over Moor Park during Sunday night in memory of a Preston man who died in a crash.

Mark McNulty, 26, died on the A5092 in Cumbria last year.

Around 200 people came together at the city park to pay their respects and remember their friend.

Chinese lanterns were lit and released by the mourners and they twinkled above Deepdale. Mark was a big Preston North End fan.

His mother Gill face a short speech at the event and thanked Mark’s friends for their support during the past year.
