Preston Guild Hall has secured a big break as the top class snooker returns once again.
AdvertisementLadbrokes World Grand Prix Snooker is to be played and featured 32 of the best players on the planet.
The snooker is on for a week at the venue and is likely to include John Higgins, Stuart Bingham, Shaun Murphy, Judd Trump and Neil Robertson.
It will also see Preston beamed to screens across the UK as the action is all live on ITV4.
A spokesman for World Snooker said: “We are thrilled to be heading back to the Guild Hall for another top class world ranking event. It is a venue stepped in snooker history, we know what a great location it is and how much the fans in the Preston area love snooker. We are expecting rapid ticket sales so seats must be booked before it’s too late.
“Over the next five months players will be striving to win as many matches as possible to earn one of the 32 coveted spots for the World Grand Prix. It will be fascinating to see that race unfold.”

The snooker is in town from Monday 6 February to Sunday 12 February, at 1pm and 7pm sessions.
Tickets are on sale priced from £10 to £26 per session and available from the Guild Hall website.
