One Prestonian has got so fed up with fly tipping in their road they’ve put up a message on a lamppost.
AdvertisementThe sign indicated the resident of Maitland Street, off New Hall Lane, has installed CCTV to try and catch those responsible.
It follows scenes like this down the road and in its alleyways off it.
A mattress was among the detritus dumped in late July and since then the problem appears to have grown worse.
The sign pinned up says ‘Stop dumping your rubbish in the street, you scruff persons CCTV in use’.
