Runners will be getting into their final training routines ahead of the return of Preston’s 10k and 5k races.
AdvertisementAnd runners are being advised not to wear headphones during the race.
Run Preston will see thousands of runners make their way around the city centre, down in Avenham Park and along the Ribble.
Organisers state: “We advise that you do not wear iPods or similar devices whilst running.
“You may not hear marshalls or indeed fellow runners if they need help.”
Run Preston takes place on Sunday 25 September, as part of the Lancashire Encounter festival.
Here’s everything you need to know if you’re running:
Registration is open from 7.30am for both the 5k and the 10k
You need to register in the Covered Market
On the Flag Market
The 5k starts at 9am, the 10k starts at 10.15am
On the 10k route it is half-way
