Body of missing man Martyn Cunliffe was found in Preston Docks

The body of a man pulled out of Preston Docks on Saturday has been confirmed as a missing man from the city.

Martyn Cunliffe went missing from his home in Walton’s Parade on Monday 22 August.

Preston Police confirmed they were called to the Docks at 11.40am on Saturday (27 August) after a body was found.

The body has now been identified as 26-year-old Martyn Cunliffe.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to HM Coroner.
