He’ll be making a documentary about independent film making in New York and shoot a short film while he’s out there too.

Alan said: “I am so grateful that UCLan have offered me the opportunity to go to New York. I intend on getting the most creative and film inspiration possible whilst I’m out there. I’m looking forward to showing you what I’ve captured when I come back.”

It’s not the first time Alan has been to film in the United States, he spent time in Los Angeles in 2013 shooting the 5000 Miles Project.
